As the Denver office managing partner, Beerbower will provide leadership and direction to the Denver office and team, and will be responsible for the reputation, client service, civic involvement, business development, and business operations of the Denver office.

Beerbower joined the firm in 2013. He received a B.S., in Accountancy from Eastern Illinois University. His new role was effective June 1, 2022.

RubinBrown Names Lynnae Robinson as Partner-in-Charge

RubinBrown LLP, one of the nation’s top 50 accounting and business consulting firms,has recently named Lynnae Robinson, CPA as partner-in-charge of its Entrepreneurial Services Group. Robinson will succeed Steven Harris, CPA, CGMA, who was recently named as the firm’s managing partner.

RubinBrown’s Entrepreneurial Services Group serves various enterprises as trusted advisors, helping business owners improve and grow their businesses, and evaluate strategic decisions from entering or exiting the marketplace, to selling or transitioning to the next generation.

Robinson joined RubinBrown in 2005. She received a B.B.A., in Accounting from McKendree University. She is based in the firm’s St. Louis office. Her new role was effective June 1, 2022.

Nathan Wechsler Welcomes New Associate

The regional accounting firm of Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA is pleased to announce the addition of James Shokal to the team.

Shokal joins the firm as an associate. In this capacity, he will perform a variety of work for clients, including accounting, auditing, compliance, financial statement preparation, tax return preparation, and special projects.

A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Maine, Shokal holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting with a concentration in Business Information Systems and Security.  In his free time, Shokal enjoys hiking, fishing, playing disc golf, and spending time with friends.

John Cornell Joins UHY LLP’s Long Island M&A Practice 

UHY LLP, one of the nation’s leading accounting and professional services firms, announced today that John C. Cornell, CPA, has joined its M&A practice as a Principal working out of UHY’s Long Island office. 

In this role, Cornell will deliver both buy- and sell-side advisory services to private equity and strategic clients.  He is a CPA with over 16 years of diverse leadership experience as both an advisor and operator. He is a prior Big Four auditor and due diligence professional, a former CFO, a former General Manager at a leading private equity backed carbon accounting SaaS business and a former Senior Vice President of M&A Integration.

In addition, Cornell joins UHY’s ESG Leadership Committee, to help UHY develop and implement accounting and advisory services to support clients’ needs.  

John received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the Villanova School of Business. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).

A graduate of Western New England University, Mosieur holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  In his free time, he likes going to the gym, riding dirt bikes, and going to the beach.
